Man...what a fun, laid back wedding. I really do get lucky!
Alix and her family are from France, and Bob and his family are from America. They met at Tulane and fell in love. Technically married already, this was to be a celebration for all their friends and family. New Orleans was the obvious choice, and Race+Religious was the perfect venue.
Also, the only proper way to introduce people to New Orleans and Louisiana is to have a crawfish boil, which they did the next day. I was quite impressed...no one hesitated to suck the heads and eat the tails. And they loved the Boudin too, my absolute favorite sausage.
Needless to say, everyone had a blast, including me. Also, it made me miss France. I must get back, but I digress...
