Sometimes you just get lucky. Sometimes things just work out. Do to some unforeseen circumstances, I was asked to shoot a wedding in Philadelphia on very short notice. I had never met Laura or Trevor, but upon meeting them we immediately hit it off. They are two of the coolest, realest people you’ll ever meet. We were made to feel like family.
Philadelphia was a blast…I love this city. We skipped the cheesesteaks and headed straight towards Serpico, where Trevor is a chef. Is was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. We were treated like kings. I’m not exaggerating…there were witnesses. Book a spot on your next trip. Philadelphia is becoming a foody haven, and we did little else besides explore and eat. Oh yea, and shoot a wedding.
We left Philly with new friends and just a little bit heavier. I can’t wait to see these two again. They were my kind of people…real. They have family in New Orleans and I can’t wait to gorge ourselves stupid when they come down. (And I’m always up for a Philly trip.)
